Delete account
You can delete your account yourself at any time, right in the app. You don't need to ask us and you don't have to give a reason (Art. 17 GDPR, Art. 32 revFADP).
In the app — the direct way
Menu path
- Open the Menu and tap App & System.
- Scroll to the Account & Security section.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm in the dialog with Delete permanently.
No password is asked for — confirming in the dialog is enough. After that, the process cannot be undone.
Haven't confirmed the legal notices or the health data consent yet and therefore can't get into the menu? Then you'll find access, export and deletion right on that screen. They stay reachable even without consent.
By email — if you no longer have access
If you can't get into the app any more, a message to us is enough. Please send it from the email address you registered with — that's how we recognize the request is yours.
We handle the request as fast as we can and in any case within the statutory period of one month (Art. 12(3) GDPR).
What gets deleted
Deletion removes your login account and the data linked to it through a cascading delete:
- Account and profile data — email, name, date of birth, gender, height, goals
- Nutrition logs — meals, calories, macros, water, recipes, weekly plans
- Training data — sessions, sets, reps, plans, records
- Body data — weight, measurements, body fat, blood pressure readings
- Health values from connected services — sleep, steps, pulse, HRV
- Coach histories from Puls and the suggestions generated from them
- Settings, reminders and push tokens
- An existing Telegram link
Progress and body photos are stored encrypted on your device by default and never reach our servers. They go away with the app, not with the account.
What can remain
Complete doesn't mean gapless — in three places, remnants may or must stay. We'd rather name them here than keep quiet about them:
Published community posts
What you posted publicly can remain in anonymized form, so that other users' replies don't point at nothing. The link to you is removed.
Record of your deletion request
Twelve months, access-restricted. Its only purpose is to prove to the supervisory authority that we carried out your request.
Record of consents given
Contains only version, language, app version and timestamp — no health values. It fulfills the accountability duty under Art. 5(2) GDPR.
Two things to consider beforehand
Export first, then delete
Under Menu › App & System you get your data as a ZIP with JSON and CSV tables (Art. 20 GDPR). After deletion that's no longer possible.
Maybe withdrawing is enough
Only want to stop the processing of your health data but keep your account? Then use Withdraw health data consent in the same place. That's not a deletion: your account stays, the affected features are only reset.

The precise retention periods for all data categories are in the Privacy Policy, section 10. The right to complain and the supervisory authorities are there in section 12.
